Home Survey Report - Level 2

Formerly known as the Homebuyer Report, this survey is used to find and document any problems in a property that could cause damage and need future repairs, such as damp or subsidence. This type of report is carried out on homes that are in a reasonable condition and only checks for easily visible problems.

The report does not detail every single aspect of the building, but it can reveal issues that might impact the value of the property and need further investigationThe Report includes all the main sections of the property that are visible to the surveyor but is a non-intrusive survey which means that floors or carpets are not lifted and services are not tested.

There are two types of Level 2 Survey – survey only, or survey with valuation.  The valuation service is undertaken and produced by our surveyors who are members of the RICS Valuer Registration scheme.
